We have been treated to some unbelievable weather this fall. There were definitely some cold days when I complained to people in Edmonton that I was not prepared and needed a warmer coat, but when they were having -30°C, we were still enjoying +10°C and sunshine. I certainly wasn’t complaining then!
We took a day trip to Antwerp, which is Belgium’s second largest city after Brussels. It has great medieval character with a lot of beautiful buildings and winding cobblestone streets. Antwerp is about 40 minutes from Brussels by train. The train station is a sight in itself with all its spectacular architecture.
In addition to exploring London, one of our big priorities is to do a lot of traveling while living abroad.
